Preventing STF – Step 2

Prevent Slips, Trips and Falls

Step 2 – Keep Floors Clean and Dry

Good housekeeping is very important for a lot of different reasons. We should also take pride in our workplace.

Any substance on the floor, such as water, reduces the friction between your shoe and the floor surface, increasing the chance of a slip, trip or fall incident.

Keeping the walking surface as clean and as dry as possible is critical to preventing slip, trip and fall injuries.
